Wattletree Pavilion is a boutique collection of eight refined apartments across five levels, culminating in an expansive full-floor penthouse with sweeping views towards Melbourne’s city skyline. Designed for CAPAX with Sora Interiors, the project brings together architecture, interiors and landscape to create a sophisticated residential experience grounded in proportion, light and liveability.
Drawing inspiration from Armadale’s leafy streets and neighbouring Victorian terraces, the façade reinterprets their vertical rhythm, layered depth and crafted detail through a contemporary architectural language. Hand-finished concrete, handmade brickwork and restrained glazing form a sculptural yet quietly confident composition. Integrated landscaping softens the building’s edges, connects the architecture with its garden setting and creates a calm transition from Wattletree Road.
Each residence has been conceived with the scale and amenity of an individual home. Generous ceiling heights, carefully positioned glazing and skylights bring natural light deep into the interiors, while clearly defined entertaining and private wings support both connection and retreat. Expansive terraces and framed views strengthen the relationship between inside and out.
A restrained palette of light stone, warm oak and soft neutral tones creates an atmosphere of understated luxury. Thoughtfully integrated joinery supports effortless daily living, while tactile, enduring materials celebrate craftsmanship and authenticity.
