The interior embodies a contemporary workplace that celebrates cultural inspiration through thoughtful spatial planning, materiality and architectural expression.
Inspired by the vast and rugged landscapes of the Australian Outback, the office adopts a generous open-plan layout that encourages collaboration, creativity and flexibility. The defining feature of the space is the sculptural undulating ceiling, formed from suspended timber dowels that flow seamlessly across the reception and meeting areas. This striking installation captures the rhythm and movement of Australia’s rolling landscapes, creating a warm and dynamic architectural experience.
As the day transitions into evening, integrated LED lighting transforms the timber ceiling into a constellation of illuminated points, evoking the expansive starlit skies of the Australian desert. The lighting design enriches the atmosphere of the workplace while reinforcing the project’s narrative through subtle visual storytelling.
The reception is anchored by a bold monolithic marble desk finished in warm yellow ochre tones. Inspired by the iconic rock formations of the Australian desert, this sculptural centrepiece establishes a strong first impression while expressing permanence, craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the Australian landscape.
